Life of Pai

So, Pai is a quiet town, farther up north from Chiang Mai. It's a 3 - 4 hour drive, in a mountainous area. And what are you attractions here? Well... not much. There are some things here and there, but for the most part people come to Pai not to see the sights, but to sit back and relax. There's virtually no traffic here, no loud blaring noise outside, nothing. And that's great; after all the travelling I did I could use the rest.

So this is a shot of the main street; you could walk through it in 5 minutes. Still, some good coffee shops to visit; for whatever reason Thais really love coffee, you can find coffee shops everywhere.

Notice the couple walking in the middle of the street? Try that in Bangkok and you'd end up a pancake in less than a minute. But in Pai, no problemo.

I spent most of my time in Pai relaxing, but I did walk around a little bit. Like this temple right here; was right around the corner from the main town center.

I didn't really take many photos in Pai; this visit was strictly about relaxing. I've not much time left before I have to return back home, but I've got time to visit one more place before that. But where to go? I'll decide that later.
